ComfortDelGro Corporation has been awarded the 2009 British Business Award for outstanding performance in the professional services & customer support category.

The award, which is into its 10th year, recognises ComfortDelGro's extensive contribution to the United Kingdom's land trasport sector.

ComfortDelGro entered the London market in 1997 after it acquired Computer Cab. Three years later in March 2000, a similar acquisition was made of public bus operator, Metroline. Currently, the Group has operations in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Liverpool, Aberdeen and Glasgow.
