Keeping up with our community support effort, ComCab Aberdeen is once again supporting the Grampian police in their hard-hitting campaign to promote sensible drinking and a 'get home safe' message in the run-up to the Christmas period.
Our drivers will be handing out a special ComCab business cards to passengers on each journey over the next few weeks. They show a man lying injured on the ground with a broken beer glass replacing the victim's head.
They also carry the Grampian Police safety message, under the banner of 'Don't end your night like this - drink responsibly'. The message is designed to remind people to drink responsibly, stay safe and to consider how they are going to get home.
On the other side of the business card is ComCab’s familiar logo and the well-known telephone booking number of (01224) 35 35 35.
ComCab Sales Manager Ernie Beaton said: ''We are delighted to have joined forces with Grampian Police in their campaign for safe and sensible drinking.
"We fully support any community effort that can promote this type of message and we would encourage the members of the public to make full use of our taxi service which is available 24/7 on 353535. ComCab would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers a very merry and safe Christmas."
